I am an experienced Data Scientist, Software Architect, Team Leader and Engineer with a strong focus on Machine Learning, AI, Analytics, Natural Language Processing and Big Data.

I started working on AI before it was called that - and before it was popular. My path traces through pure software development, business intelligence, analytics, data science, machine learning, NLP and LLMs. I have worked across start-ups and top-10 global companies, in academia, and on three continents in international environments.

I have seen a lot that worked - and a lot that didn't. I have watched the same ideas fail, get rebranded, and fail again. The goal of this newsletter is to share what I've actually learned: what to do, what to avoid, and how to think clearly about a field that attracts an awful lot of noise.
